Book a training course

The purpose of this course is to provide a guide to who can apply to settle in the UK and the requirements for settlement or permanent residence.

The course will look at the different categories of applicant who can apply and will include the requirements and law for:

  • spouses and other family members
  • workers
  • long residence
  • people granted leave under international instruments
  • EEA nationals and their family members
  • policies outside the rules and future proposals

Objectives

At the end of the course participants should be able to:

  • advise clients on whether they qualify to enter/remain permanently in the UK
  • understand documents/evidence required and the application process
  • understand current legal issues
  • know when to challenge refusals
