JCWI's training programme has been devised in conjunction the organisation's large pool of expert trainers drawing on feedback from previous courses from both trainers and participants.

JCWI continues to assess the courses it runs and to ensure that they are fully up-to-date in light of the many changes in law and policy now being implemented and on the horizon. Course Categories

Basic: no prior knowledge required

Intermediate: assumes a basic degree of knowledge of immigration law

Advanced: assumes a good legal understanding of immigration, asylum and human rights law

Continuing Professional Development
All of our courses are accredited by the Law Society & the Bar Council and carry Continual Professional Development (CPD) hours.

Certificate of Attendance
Delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance on completion of a course. This will be sent to you within two weeks of the end of the course.

Training Materials
All our training courses come with a comprehensive high quality and up-to-date training pack which can also be used as an easy reference guide by participants.

All our programmed courses can be delivered in-house.

Subsidy Scheme
JCWI is keen to assist community-based organisations with their training needs. However presently we do not have any funding to subsidise places on our training scheme. Should future funding become available this will be advertised on this website. Legal Services Commission
