Fundraising Consultant

Are you looking for an opportunity to work as a Fundraising Consultant with a leading national charity in London?

This is a superb opportunity for a charity fundraising consultant to manage fundraising for JCWI which exists to provide legal advice and assistance to marginalised migrants and refugees and campaigns for their equal rights. As Fundraising Consultant you will be responsible for increasing membership of the organisation, liaising with past clients of the Charity and promoting sponsorship on an individual and corporate level.

This role will be remunerated on a commission basis only, based upon the funds raised.Depending on the success on the consultant’s achievements JCWI may consider creation of a paid post after one year. This opportunity is ideal for an individual who is looking to develop their career in the Not-for-Profit / Charity sector. Ideally, you will have the following attributes:

• At least one year’s experience in fundraising would be preferred.

• Be a very effective oral and written communicator.

• Ability to generate innovative fundraising methods and ideas.

• Be a confident self-starter who is able to work autonomously with little supervision.

• Have a commitment to the maintenance of social justice for immigrants and asylum seekers.
