The Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act has now finished it's progression through Parliament and received Royal Assent on 21st July. This Act proposes many changes for migrants wishing to naturalise as British Citizens that JCWI has raised concerns about.
Below are the briefings and amendments that JCWI provided to Peers and MPs as the Act progressed through Parliament. JCWI also made submissions to the Home Affairs Committee and Joint Committee on Human Rights highlighting JCWI's concerns about the impact of the Act on the rights of migrants.
