This course will offer an overview and update of the changes brought by the Immigration Act 2014 and planned by the Immigration Bill 2015-2016, and an opportunity for discussion amongst practitioners and third sector workers offering advice to migrants.
Pre-requisites as to knowledge and experience - none to nominal
The course will consider:
· Appeals in the Tribunals
· Article 8 ECHR
· The Immigration Health Charge
· Right to rent
· Access to services
· Asylum support
· Illegal working
The course objective is to allow participants to develop a better understanding of the current legislation and the impending Immigration Bill 2015 and their practical implications for migrants and citizens in the UK.
