Happy Summer!

Come join us on Thursday 16th August, to celebrate some of the successes we've all had in making the positive case for migration and migrants this year, to relax and regroup. All profits from the evening will go to help us protect the legal rights of migrants and to advocate for a fair and just immigration system.

The evening starts at 6pm and runs till 10pm at the absolutely stunning Calthorpe Community Gardens in the heart of the Kings Cross/Clerkenwell area. Food is included in the ticket price, and there will be a bar serving drinks, including some highly prized Windrush Stout donated by the Brixton Brewery.

There are some incredible prizes to win at our raffle, including free meals at Dishoom, a meal for two with wine at the Fat Bear, two tickets to SCOOPthe Interactive Ice Cream Museum in Kings Cross courtesy of Bompass and Parr. You can also get signed copies of the extraordinary Gnomon (Guardian book of the year) by Nick Harkaway, and for something a little more depressing, Ian Dunt’s Brexit: What the hell happens now?. Also a goodie bag from the National Theatre. Raffle tickets are only £2 each so it’s an absolute bargain.

Music comes courtesy of the wonderfully named Permission to Appeal, a jazz band with a long history in human rights, featuring musicians such as Chris Esdaile of Redress, and Mike Roberts and Peter Hopper of Leigh Day. Have a listen to their music on their website.

Children very welcome, there is an outdoor play area and a creche. There is also table tennis and table football, giant Jenga and many more garden activities.
