Rimmy Bedi Rimmy has been providing immigration advice since 1996 and has extensive knowledge of the Points-Based System. Rimmy has worked for Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 law firms, as well as in the immigration departments of "Big Four” accounting firms. She has advised and trained global mobility departments of major multinationals and universities in HR compliance, Sponsor duties, and complex Sponsor Licence cases. Throughout her work experience, Rimmy has covered a broad spectrum of work such as leave to remain/entry clearance applications, family applications, all types of visitor categories, EEA applications, settlement/citizenship, Tier 1 - entrepreneur and investor applications, Tier 5 – government authorised exchange, youth mobility schemes, interns, sole representative visas and appeals. Rimmy shares her practical knowledge and gives holistic advice in all training courses offering alternative solutions in complex scenarios. Rimmy participated in a weekly radio show for a year, answering live questions on all aspects of immigration. She also presents business immigration seminars on behalf of external training organizations and active involvement with ILPA for consultation responses to the Home Office. Rimmy is now a Managing Director of a niche immigration practice, and also continues to train lawyers or HR professionals on changes in the immigration rules.
