EU Citizens' Rights

We have been working hard to protect the rights of EU citizens after Britain left the EU - from calling for a declaratory scheme, to campaigning for the Home Office to #LiftTheDeadline on the EU Settlement Scheme. Despite calls from us and other campaigners, the Home Office did not lift the deadline, and as a result, on 1 July 2021, tens or hundreds of thousands of EU citizens lost their right to remain in the UK.

Find out about help and resources available and read more below on our ongoing campaign to reform the immigration system so no one is pushed out, then locked out of status.
